Some Hormonal Observation

Recent work by Preti et al 10 shows that axillary pheromones produce a stimulatory effect on gondadotropic releasing hormones GnRH. Pheromones are known to affect endocrine (primer) or behavioral (releaser) responses, provide information (signaler), or perhaps even modify emotion or mood (modulator). In this study, axillary extracts from men were placed under the nose of women volunteers while monitoring serum luteinizing hormone (LH) and emotion/mood. Pulses of LH are excellent indicators of the release of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) from the brain's hypothalamus. This study showed that extracts of male axillary secretions have a direct effect upon LH-pulsing and mood of women. In our subjects, the putative male pheromone(s) advanced the onset of the next peak of LH after its application, reduced tension, and increased relaxation.

We can summarize all the actions in this phrase from a inveterate wearer of the pheromones: “It has changed my life. I am happier, more loving and more productive than I have ever been.”

According to a study reported in the "New Scientist" in January, 2005, 41 percent of pheromone users experienced increased affection from partners, and 68 percent reported an increase in dates and other intimate behaviors.
